Wow! What a Fair. I had the most amazing time, and thanks to all the people who managed to come along and see my new work.
It was lovely to have so many faces, old and new, turn out on a Friday night and over the weekend to come and visit me!
I was also so lucky that my stand was one of the first things you saw as you stepped into the beautiful Chelsea Old Town Hall…honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the chance to exhibit at!
The fair was a huge success for me, and I have to say I am so delighted to have made many new connections and to have met lots of new artists whilst in London.
It was the debut for my newest collection of work, The Flower Horse, and the response I received was astounding… it was so interesting to hear such positive feedback from so many different people! It gave me a real insight into what other people see in my work and has made me confident to continue exhibiting!
Another element of my exhibit was my mini-series. I carefully selected some of my most gorgeous images, and created a special miniature framed series. These work really well together when a larger selection is hung together on one wall.
It surprised me, however, to see that some people bought individual frames from my mini series, and have since written to me to tell me how that little piece or art has brightened up their office desk or bed-side table… so I am super happy they were such a hit!
One lucky winner took home the limited edition framed Shadow Horse collection… the winner has hung the series in their living room and is over the moon!
I will definitely be back at Parallax next year…. maybe you’ll come down and say hi?
